I’ve got a couple of these hooked up to TinyPico ESP32 boards. The sensor is detected properly, and initially gets expected readings. However over a span of 12-24 hours it starts to settle …
CM1106S-W is a single beam NDIR CO2 sensor module, based on non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology, which can detect CO2 concentration of indoor air. With high accuracy, high stability, small size, it is widely used for ventilation system, air purifier, air conditioner, HVAC transmitter, IAQ monitor, etc. Learn more . Sensor Component¶. ESPHome has support for many different sensors. Each of them is a platform of the sensor domain and each sensor has several base configuration options.. Base Sensor Configuration¶. All sensors in ESPHome have a name and some other optional configuration options.
Configuration variables:¶ co2 (Required): The CO_2 data from the sensor in parts per million (ppm).. name (Required, string): The name for the CO_2 sensor.. id (Optional, ID): Set the ID of this sensor for use in lambdas.. All other options from Sensor.. temperature (Required): The information for the temperature note that this is not officially documented in the datasheet and ...
T6613/15 CO2 Sensors ¶ The t6615 sensor platform allows you to use T6613 and T6615 family sensors (amphenol) with ESPHome. T6613 sensors are unreferenced and require ABC to calibrate daily, while the T6615 sensors have a sealed reference gas and do not require ABC calibration. All ppm ranges are supported by this platform.
13/08/2020· A CO2 Sensor for ESPHome. With so many people spending so much time indoors lately, Greg from Greg’s Tinker Town wanted to develop a board that could interface an ESP32 to an MH-Z19B CO2 sensor – and so that’s exactly what he did! The MH-Z19B is a pretty neat sensor. It uses non-dispersive infrared to detect the concentration of CO2 in the air. This makes it pretty immune to the ...
CO2 sensors tend to drift over time, and usually needs to be calibrated time to time. However, it states that CM1107 uses the dual beam method, hence the drift is negligible. I think it will be a good addition the list of ESPHome supported CO2 sensor list. I have attached the datasheet. It says it supports UART, I2C, PWM as signal output.
The ZyAura CO2 & Temperature & Humidity sensor allows you to use your ZGm05 (3) (U) (MT8057, MT8057S), ZG1683R (U) (MT8060), ZG1583RUD monitors with ESPHome. ZyAura ZGm053U CO2 & Temperature Monitor. ¶ ZyAura ZGm053U connection diagram (1 - empty, 2 - clock, 3 - data, 4 - GND). In some other models the clock and data pins are swapped. ¶

05/11/2019· Reading a BMP280 sensor. Check out https:///, you see a lot of integrations possible. Choose any sensor you like, add it to some spare pins of your ESP module, add the configuration to the YAML file and here you go! BMP280 sensor. This sensor is connected by i2c bus. Connect GND to GND, VCC to 3v3 (BEWARE: the sensor can’t handle 5V ...

SCD30 CO₂, Temperature and Relative Humidity Sensor. ¶. The scd30 sensor platform allows you to use your Sensirion SCD30 CO₂ ( datasheet) sensors with ESPHome. The I²C Bus is required to be set up in your configuration for this sensor to work. # Example configuration entry sensor: - platform: scd30 co2: name: "Workshop CO2…
This action initiates a background calibration on the sensor with the given ID: the current CO2 level will be used as a reference for the 400ppm threshold. Ensure that the sensor is in a stable environment with fresh ambient air, preferably near a window that has already been opened for a sufficient time.

I use an SPS30 particulate sensor to get PM1//4/10 on an ESPHome (ESP8266) that I'm pretty happy with as well. ESPHome supports several different options for particulate that are very cost effective (and CO2, VOC, etc). DIY with ESPHome is inexpensive and a good project. 3.
08/08/2020· First, let’s ensure that the BLE Tracker is defined and working, by adding the line esp32_ble_tracker:, note that there’s nothing needed after the let’s create a sensor where we define the BLE device, first via naming the platform - platform: xiaomi_lywsdcgq, then by telling ESPHome its MAC lastly, define your Sensor Names for temperature and humidity as …
13/08/2020· The MH-Z19B is a pretty neat sensor. It uses non-dispersive infrared to detect the concentration of CO2 in the air. This makes it pretty immune to the percentage of oxygen in the air, and with no moving parts or chemical sensor elements it should have a fairly long lifespan.
OLED …
In this example we will connect a CCS811 gas sensor to an ESP32, first of all lets look at the sensor. The CCS811 is a low-power digital gas sensor solution, which integrates a gas sensor solution for detecting low levels of VOCs typically found indoors, with a microcontroller unit (MCU) and an Analog-to-Digital converter to monitor the local environment and provide an indication of the indoor ...
22/12/2019· The ESP8266 has one hardware serial (UART) port, marked RX and TX on the board, which is also used for logging and uploading firmware over USB. Alternatively, ESPHome supports software serial where the CPU simulates a UART port on any GPIO pin. This can cause glitches, but at the low baud rates (<100k) our sensors need this is likely OK.
03/04/2020· ESPHome is written in python and can be installed without Home Assistant using pip install esphome or with docker pull esphome/esphome. I use ESPHome as a home assistant addon, because you also get a web interface for administration. Needed Hardware.
